Best purchase I ever made Review by High Water Guitars

I was the 2nd Iconic shipped I think I have model #4 Its worked great from day 1 its been 3 years now and its still running like brand new. I've cut over 60 guitars and their parts on it mostly of exotic hard woods and brass. For the money it performs like a pro model just a little bit lighter. You'll need to modify your feeds and speeds for the limits of the machine and you can't use 1/2' shaft bits. It can't it plow through Brailzain Cherry or Ipe at top speed a 1/4" deep but do you need to? It's still 1000x's more rigid than any hobby machine and 1 million time better than any belt drive machine in its price range. Once you know and test its limits you can use this machine like a work horse. Its accuracy is awesome and reliability is key. I set my cuts about an hour long runs turn on the dust collector and go cook diner. The bed design is awesome and I have made jigs and pin holes for all my major cuts for flip over accuracy and fast zeroing. For the investment this machine will pay for its self over and over. Worth Every Penny Review by VanDriel Projects

I bought this machine with no prior CNC experience. Axiom offers great video instruction on YouTube, as do many other content creators who own the machine. It's been a great addition to my small shop for engraving, template cutting, and many other applications.

With VCarve Pro and this machine, the possibilities are endless, limited only by your knowledge of the machine and software. Would definitely recommend to anyone dipping their toes into CNC machining. I will be upgrading soon, but this thing has been a champ! (Posted on 2/4/2022)
Great!!! Review by Capt Tim Fey

I have had my Iconic 8 for a month now and must say this has been a HUGE upgrade from a machine I was using for over 2 years. This Axiom has preformed flawless for me and I have seen a huge improvement in not only the time it takes to carve but also in the quality of the carve. I did have a few questions with the machine and Chad at Axiom has been great with all his help. Great support system at Axiom. Wish I would have made this purchase much sooner. I see myself adding another machine to my shop next year!! (Posted on 9/27/2021)

Like most users, had a couple of hickups but the support from Axiom was outstanding! I was able to easily work through these and I was off to the races! I am very impressed with everything about this CNC. (Posted on 5/26/2021)

Super Impressed Review by Doug Bornyk

This is a High Quality, reasonably priced machine and accessories. I'm about 6 months and 50 to 100 hours of use into the Axiom iR2-4. I love this machine and the Laser Attachment I added a few months ago. The components, spindle, build quality and performance make this a terrific CNC Machine for a small shop. It performs well with the Exotic, Domestic Wood I use, and the 30 plus signs I've done. I am also able to attach the Laser and get a little creative in other projects. I like the DSP Auto rich Controller and Vectric Software I added. And having the Axiom Line available in Canada was a game changer for me. If you want a machine for your small shop, or your budget is a little lower, you won't be disappointed with this machine. (Posted on 6/9/2020)
Worth the money Review by DD

I have had my I2R for a couple of months and I am a novice at CNC. Other than a few little hickups with the set up the machine performs like a dream. I would suggest some additional information in the install instructions would help.
If you are starting out like I am I would strongly suggest you purchasing the clamping kits. It makes like so much easier (Posted on 1/29/2020)
